G&G Builders to Construct 135 Tiny Homes

We believe construction has the power to do more than shape skylines, it can change lives. That’s why we’re proud to partner on Sacramento’s latest initiative to provide 135 brand-new tiny homes for individuals transitioning out of homelessness.

Practical, Cost-Effective Housing

The project, located at the Roseville Road Shelter-and-Service Campus, is designed to offer stable, transitional housing that’s both affordable and impactful. Each tiny home provides a safe, private space that stands as a stepping stone toward long-term stability.

This isn’t the first time we’ve been tasked with building at scale for the unhoused community. After completing the San Francisco tiny cabin project, our team brings proven expertise in rapid construction, efficient project management, and quality workmanship that these homes demand.

  • Speed and Scale: Delivering 135 units requires a streamlined approach, from sourcing materials to coordinating trades. Our team is adept at fast-paced builds without compromising quality.

  • Durability and Function: These homes are designed to be compact yet resilient. They’re built to withstand daily use and provide long-term value to the city.

  • Community Integration: Construction is just the beginning. We see each unit as part of a larger “microvillage” that fosters safety, dignity, and connection.

Why This Project Matters

Homelessness is a complex issue with no one-size-fits-all solution, but housing remains the foundation. For us at G&G Builders, being part of this project is more than just building structures, it’s about building opportunity. Every tiny home completed means one more person has a safe place to sleep, store belongings, and start again.

The Sacramento project is one of several “microvillage” developments planned across the city, and we’re honored to play a part in shaping this forward-thinking model. As construction moves ahead, our priority remains clear: deliver safe, functional housing on time and on budget, so the community can start reaping the benefits as soon as possible.

ABC10 Sacramento covered the project with a great video. Check it out for a closer look at the work site and even more insight into the build!
